Most in-ground pool builds in metro Atlanta run 10 to 16 weeks from permit approval to water. The biggest variable is county permitting — Fulton, Cobb, and Cherokee all have different timelines and requirements. We pull permits for every job and build that lead time into your project schedule from the start, so the timeline we give you is one we stand behind.

We handle all permitting. That includes the building permit, any required inspections, and coordination with your county's building department. Georgia also requires a pool barrier (fence or approved cover) before final inspection — we'll walk you through what your county requires so there are no surprises at the end.

Fall and winter are actually ideal. The ground is easier to work, crews have more availability, and if you start in October or November you're likely to be swimming by late spring. Atlanta summers book up fast — if you want a pool for next summer, the time to get on the schedule is now.

We install plaster, quartz aggregate, and pebble finishes. Standard white plaster is the most affordable starting point, but aggregate and pebble finishes hold up better to Georgia's warm water temperatures and chemical demands over time. During your design consultation we'll show you samples and explain the maintenance differences honestly so you can pick what fits your situation.
